Eugene has a slight cold and is staying in bed. Played nursery rhyme records after trying unsuccessfully to get Eugene to agree to a "Symphony". Eugene got some new jig saws which he did with some slight help. Incidentally Eugene follows the words of the victrola records from the copy he has as he has been able to read for almost a year. Lillian also bought Eugene a paint set and book to color. Poor Sylvia is scurrying from room to room. Played Sibelius and Eugene said I hadn't played Frank's Symphony in D Minor Part I for a long time.
Dad was a great lover of classical music.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
