American industrialist officers and Nazi agent Westrick are collaborating to rebuild cartel relations between the two countries. Emperor Hirohito visited Gen. MacArthur in an unprecedented move. Truman is again supporting the original jobless bill. We went over to Mosholu in the afternoon and saw Mom and Pop, Lillian & Susan, Sadie and the kids. Fredi is a trial to Sadie as she is not very amenable. Finished "Innocents Abroad" by Mark Twain. Twain takes an excursion around the world. With his dry satire, he explodes myths and howls over long stand-bys. Ben Davis tells off the "Un-American" Comm.
