Sec. of the Treas. Vinson has urged repeal of the excess profits tax. Pro-Nazi Schaeffer has been replaced as Bavarian President by Social Democratic Dr. Hoegner. Negro Hazel Scott has been barred from Constitution Hall. Lillian took Eugene to Dr. Holzman for his first cold vaccine injection. We bought a small bowl with two goldfish for Eugene.
I have only the vaguest memory of the goldfish, perhaps more prompted by reading it than recalling it!
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
