Lillian went to the cemetery today. Ed Bykowski, wounded vet. is picketing racist Senator Bilbo until he gets an appointment to protest to him personally for his scurrilousness. We were shocked to hear that my friend Al Pope had had a heart attack and had coronary occlusion. He has been in the Methodist Hospital for two weeks. Just noted (1/12/11) that I missed labeling Sunday on this one; corrected that.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
