My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Eugene had 102 temperature and we called Dr. Holzman. He said it was acute sinusitis. He prescribed privine and sulfanilimide. We have allowed the Japanese Authorities to continue to rule Korea. Gen. Tojo has attempted suicide. He is at the top of the war criminal list in Japan. The Big "5" foreign minister parley started. They will prepare peace treaties. The Senate finance committee has voted against $25 unemployment aid but OK'd the 26 week duration. Sylvia is inseparable from either a dolly or bunny with a cover. Mother with Lillian and Susan Gail came over in the P.M.
