My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Lillian's cold is still hanging on. Sylvia is attracted by money, Eugene, the intellectual type. Kelsey-Hayes has broken with the union. A wildcat strike has been going on there. The Labor Govt's India proposals are called a repetition of the rejected Cripps plan. The "Protestant" is asking the removal of "Hunter" president Dr. Shuster as a pro-nazi. Meat black-marketeers are being prosecuted. Eugene came rushing in to tell me I was "cock-eyed" since there were 20 empty pages in the album.
