The "Daily News" wants American spies in Russia and its columnist O'Donnell blames outstanding Jews for Patton's removal. Bus drivers are receiving retroactive increases. Laval's antics have caused his ejection from the courtroom as his trial opens. Darnand has been sentenced to death. Eugene went for his second injection.
