My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Quisling's trial starts. Beat Levy. Sylvia had trench mouth on the farm. Two Committees are in existence to end Jim Crow in baseball. Japs are meeting with MacArthur on the surrender. General Wainwright, commander at Bataan and Corregidor has been liberated from captivity in Japan by American chutists. Ernest Bevin of the new Labor Government announced that Britain will not recognize the new Balkan governments as not representative of all parties.
