Byron Nelson is the sensation of the golf season. Eugene makes the sound chi-chi ch frequently. He heard an oil truck make it. Eugene started his second term in kindergarden today. He has Mrs. Lyston again. His class is K.G. 2 room 214. The first term he went from 1 to 3 PM. This time he is going from 9 to 12. The State Department is in favor of a new Spanish government. Amgot in Italy is restricting the growing unions there. It appears that Japan is getting a soft peace. Our objectives in Japan are abolition of militarism, encouragement of liberalism, creation of a peace-loving government. Two famous Bilbo opponents met when Josephine Piccolo recipient of the famous "Dear Dago" letter welcomed Ed Bykowski wounded vet. who has been picketing Bilbo. Dick Fowler pitching his first game with the Athletics after being released from the Army turned in a no hit no run performance against the Browns. Sylvia is 3 ft. 2 1/4 inches. She has a lisp. After going to the toilet she starts singing "wipe my b - ". Eugene is 3 ft. 11 1/4 inches.
By far the longest entry yet, a whole page. Because my second kindergarden semester was in the fall, returning from the summer, for some years I had the idea that I spent two full years in kindergarden (thought maybe I was left back?).
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
