Lillian led the exercises this morning. Went down with the kids and played ball - catching and kicking.
When he says "went down", he probably means down to the back yard; the apartment house was a semi-circle on a corner, and, with the buildings around it, had a completely enclosed yard. When I went back to visit, many years later, the yard had really shrunk a lot!
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
