The Chinese have taken Foochow. Tito's occupation of Trieste has caused much Allied protest. Lilly took the kids over to Mollie's where Milton called up from Hawaii. Everyone spoke to Milton including his girl friend Ruth. Eugene and his kindergarden class inspected the school garden recently.
Milton Modelson was Sam and Mollie's only child. I remember seeing him in his Army uniform, probably shortly after the war.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
