Eugene went to school in morning today to get a doctor's examination. Sylvia has some favorite words: hopey, mimi, hapy, bompey, donkey. Eugene's were dingstick-go, bing-stop, cananacanoke. Are they both following in their Dad's footsteps in this respect. Tokyo shelled by our Pacific fleet in historic attack.

I'm trying to transcribe the words correctly, but it's handwritten, and since Sylvia's and my "favorite words" are not all real words ... When he says "in their Dad's footsteps", he's clearly referring to his love of and facility with words; our father was a Crossword Puzzle expert; see the picture above (the last name on the cup) for verification of my claim!
