British backed by U.S. have asked the French to cease firing in Damascus. Eugene got a spanking from Lillian yesterday for being cranky and was much better thereafter.
If you'd asked me, I would have said I was never spanked, although I do remember having my mouth washed out with soap once. I'm glad I responded well.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
