Refrigerator was fixed today. It began to bang - Saturday night and the freezing unit did not work. Eugene has another of his sinus attacks. He napped for an hour and was listless afterwards. He stayed home from school. Sylvia hurt her knee playing in the yard and had a band-aid put on. She walked bowlegged on account of this and had to be carried upstairs.
I remember our refrigerator; it was tiny, of course, compared to today's, and the freezer part was just barely large enough for a half-gallon of ice cream (I think).
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
