My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Hitler is announced as "killed" but I want to see the body first. Von Runstedt [sic] Von Leeb and List are captured. The radio announces unconditional surrender of 1000000 Germans in Italy and Austria. Frisco Conference does not want Poland as yet but seated accepted two Soviet Republics. The Soviets have taken Berlin.
