Fine day and Eugene O.K. Children made sand pies in Aqueduct. Eisenhower has barred coddling of high Nazis. We are bombing Japan furiously. Niemoeller has denounced Bolshevism and Guderian has been captured.
Aqueduct Ave. was a long street in the West Bronx, with a long, thin, park built over the Old Croton Aqueduct. It was one block from our apartment building.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
