My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

3/11 Sunday
Took Eugene down in the morning and played ball with him and another boy we picked up. Sylvia has a cold. She says her Aunt Lillian's baby will move and then come out. Lilly and Harry over in afternoon. Lillian had taken Eugene to the zoo. Mom and Pop came over later. Listened on the radio of the Jap massacre of 2500 American and Filipino prisoners.
