At the end of one full year of the diary, as I was about to start the next year, I found that I had only 363 posts!. Looking back, I found that this post, labeled "2/8/45" was actually for 2/9/45, and I had missed 2/8/45, probably because of the similarity of the first line. So I'm combining the two posts here, adding 2/8 at the beginning. Now I have to find the other missing post.
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
