Eugene borrowed "Little Indian Folk" by Deming and Friendly Village by O'Donnell & Carey. Sylvia was up and around the house today. Twenty leading Nazis went on trial. The U.A.W. struck G.M. today after the latter refused last minute arbitration. Sylvia got a nice dress and Eugene a book from the Altschuler's. The President has projected a national health insurance program for adoption by Congress.
Wow, that last line is timely!
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
