My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Ernie Koslan, discharged from the Army was here today with all his problems more confused than ever. Lindbergh has come into the limelight again with his dirty work trying to salvage some part of the Nazi wreck. The U.A.W. has rejected Ford's 12.4¢ raise offer coupled with demands to freeze wages for 2 years, cut shop stewards and guarantee against outlaw strikes. Sylvia got 101.5 temp at night.
