My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
I remember Sam Altschuler. I was probably 6 and I was in love with him. I remember his wife as a "beautiful lady". Do you know what he did for occupation? Their offspring? Izzy
ReplyDeleteI remember the name well, but only remember them vaguely, and don't know anything about them. Silvia and I have talked about it; we don't know who they were, really; family or friends. If you look at the Family Tree, you'll see that Ida Zola, our grandmother, had a parent named "Libby Mirriam Aleschuler". I got that from one of our California cousins, and asked if that was really "Altschuler", but never got an answer.
