My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Norman dropped in by surprise as he was hanging drapes in the house and had lunch here. The housing situation is deplorable with returning veterans hardest hit. A "Garden" meeting with A. J. Thomas, Wallace, J.Huxley, Tobey, Col. Carlson, Urey, Shipley, speaking advocated "Big 3" unity and turning over the atom bomb to the U.N.O. Eugene drew "Timid Timothy" by G. Williams and "To Market We Go" by Jane Miller from the library.
