My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Sylvia's temperature was normal today. Her urine was negative. Truman has extended F.E.P.C. to June but killed all but its investigatory powers. Congress OKd our membership in the U.N.O. Sylvia's temp. 100 at night. Gen. Patton died of his injuries today. Eugene made a pot holder for Lillian and a calendar for me for Christmas in school. He was Santa Claus in school today.
