My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Sylvia O.K. The Nazis on trial are being shown the "horror Camp" films. The Yugoslav Republic was proclaimed yesterday. Eugene has learned "God Bless America" and "America" in school. This is another: "Oh! Jolly Santa Claus riding o'er the snow, Bringing joy and happiness, wherever you go." "Oh Jolly Santa Claus, we will help to, and bring Joy and happiness just like you".
