My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

A "Big 3" Communique has announced the following decisions 1. Atomic control authority is vested in the Security Council. The "big 3" retain veto power. USA, England and Canada are not obligated to reveal atomic bomb secrets. 2. An 11 power Far Eastern Commission will guide post-war Japan. 3. China must be unified and democratized. Foreign troops will leave soon. 4. A trusteeship over Korea will prepare for independence. 5. Romanian and Bulgarian gov'ts will be broadened. 6. Peace treaties for defeated countries will be participated in by major countries involved.
