Entrusted Eugene with a bottle of bleach water to carry upstairs but he stumbled and broke it making quite a mess. He is usually the first one dressed in his class and Mrs. Lyston called him a smart boy he told us.
So my father let a five-year old boy carry a bottle of "bleach water" up the stairs?
My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.
Things were different in the olden days, you know!
