My father started a "diary" in 1945 (more accurately, a journal, covering both family and current events), and I'm going to see if this is a decent way to publish it. Since I'm doing it as a blog, to get to the beginning of the journal, you have to go to the beginning of the blog.

Petain's sentence is commuted to life imprisonment by DeGaulle. :Our State Dept. refuses to recognize Bulgaria claiming the government lacks democracy and is communist dominated. Winston Churchill displaced Prime Minister has made a speech as an M.P. attacking the new democratic governments of Europe as communistic. Democratic Argentinian demonstrators for peace suffered over 100 casualties and 4 deaths when fired upon by the military.
